Sweet, handsome Gabe is the son of our Momma Georgia.  He is about 20 lbs right now and is approximately 4 months of age. 

Our best assessment is that Gabe is a Retriever/Shepherd mix.  He has a lustrous black coat with waves going all the way down to the tip of his tail. 

 

Gabe gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters and is a sweetheart.  He loves the attention of his humans and is as sweet as can be.

Our best assessment is that Gabe will be between 60 - 75 lbs when full grown.

To pursue Gabe's adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net.  Then log back on with your username and password to complete the Safe At Last adoption application.  Once we have your application, we will be in touch by email to schedule the phone interview to commence the review process.  Our process is very straightforward, but it does involve the phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $375 & a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law) also apply.

Gabe is being fostered in a private home; we do not have a centralized facility.  Therefore, you cannot meet Gabe until you have been approved for adoption, and we cannot consider you until you have submitted the completed SAFE AT LAST adoption application.
