Rosie
Beautiful little Rosie came to us from West Virginia on Jan 18th, along with brother Sam, sister Emmie, and brothers Tucker, Harley and Smokey. Very shortly after arriving, Rosie (along with Sam and Emmie) started to show symptoms of parvo. We did all we could to help the pups fight this most dreadful disease. So very sadly, Rosie did not survive - she passed away early this morning (1/28/11). She was such a sweet, happy little girl, who loved to be picked up and cuddled & was always at the ready with lots of puppy kisses. Sweet Rosie's passing leaves a hole in her foster mommy's heart. All who loved this sweet pup hope that she is happily playing with brother Sam & sister Emmie at the Rainbow Bridge. ~ with love, always, from your foster mom ~

Sam
Sweet, gentle Sam came to Safe at Last from WV on Jan. 18, 2011. He was supposed to be getting a new start to life -- looking forward to wonderful times with a new forever family. So very sadly, Sam was sick with parvo, and despite our very best efforts, his little body could not survive this dreadful disease. Sam went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning (Jan 26th), and he is now no longer in any pain. Even though he was with his foster mom for a very short time, she wants him to know she loved him very much and will miss his sweet, gentle nature. She also hopes he knows she tried her very best to give him the life he so deserved.

May Memories Rish
Beautiful May Memories Rish, beloved companion of Ruthie Rish, passed away at about 5 a.m. on New Year's morning, 2010. Sweet, gentle May brought so much love, understanding, and growth to her mom Ruthie's life. May is very much missed and will always be remembered with love. With loving memories ~ human family Ruthie, Bob, & Cam, and equine family Diego, Gift, Cruz & Desi

Amigo
Puppy Amigo did not survive his bout with parvo, despite our best efforts. We hope Amigo is now romping and playing at the Bridge ~ able to be a happy puppy, along with sister Katie. Much love from your foster mom

Katie
Puppy Katie, along with her brother Amigo, did not survive their awful bout with parvo. We tried our very best to save them, but it was not to be. Even though they were with us for only a short time, they were much loved. To Baby Katie ~ All our love, always, from your foster family
