Chickadee

8/5/15: I wanted to send you an update on Luna AKA Chickadee! She is doing great! We absolutely adore her! When we first got her she was nervous and scared. We learned what submissive urination was! Gave her lots of love and she suddenly stopped (thankfully). Luna is all puppy! Loves to play with her toys, fetch, run and go for walks. Wrestles with her sister all the time, If her sister wants to or not! :) She is a ferocious chewer, can chew the stuffing out of a toy in minutes!!! Cuddling is one of her favorite things to do.. she's wonderful to sleep with! Luna is a happy girl and is a perfect addition to our family. We had her spayed and dew claws removed a few weeks ago. She was 40 pounds then and keeps growing. Thank you again for everything! The kids and I love to see her siblings updates on facebook! They were such a great litter! Attached are some photos of Luna! Thank you again!!! Paige, Peter, Brian, Matt, Ellie & Luna! (For more pictures of Chickadee/Luna, go to our FB page!) ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 4/19/15 - It's only been a week but we can't imagine life without her! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cindy, Thank you for everything. Luna seems to be adjusting just fine. She sweet... slept a lot this afternoon. She so sweet. Thank you for all the goodies - they are playing with them and she ate really well tonight - since I think she threw up everything she ate this morning on the ride. :) Thanks a ton! Love Paige

We will be in touch after he sees our vet this week! (Our pug hates the camera, so I couldn't get a pic of them together) Kerri & Mike

Chloe

7/29/15 -- Happy 6th Birthday, Neela!! Here is an update from Neela's family: Hi Cindy. Today is Neela's (Chloe) 6th birthday!!! I can not believe how time flies. She still lives like a puppy! Every day with her I quietly thank you for saving her. She brings smiles to everyone she meets (and always kisses). She is my running partner and can make me do an 8min mile! Here are a couple pics of her from this year!!!!! Please feel free to post on your facebook page as I tried an could only upload one pictures!!!! Love, Neela and her family!!! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 7/29/14 - UPDATE ON NEELA (on her 5th birthday)!! Hi Cindy, I wanted to check in and send a quick note to you as we celebrate Neela(chloe) 5th birthday! She is an incredible dog and is our miracle! I think about it all the time, that you didnt give up on her!!!! I will try and send some new pictures. She has been traveling New England and meeting lots of friends along the way. She is definitely a celebrity when out and about! People want their picture with her all the time! And she just soaks it in! She is my running partner and has helped me train through the toughest days. She is a speed demon and can do 8 minute miles!!! She loves swimming but this humid weather makes us all lazy. As I woke up this morning with her sleeping in the middle of the bed (yup gets the run of the house), I sang happy birthday to her and cuddled her and just kept thinking how lucky we are to have her!!!! She will get her night out and ice cream tonight! Thank you again for all you do for these puppies that need all the help they can get! Stephanie/Tom & Neela ________________________________________________________________________________________________ I wanted to sent you a quick note on Neela (Chloe) for her success story. She is almost a year old and is thriving in her world! She is 54 pounds and very active. Swimming and running are her favorite hobbies. She even runs in her sleep! She had a great winter and loved the snow and chasing snowballs. The spring brought heavy rains to our area and let me tell you - the princess does not like the rain! Summer has brought the heat but her absolute love of the water has made her life a vacation. She has many friends and has more play dates planned than her parents. In her short time with us, she has already made lots of friends and traveled to four different states. In June she had a weekend at the Barkwood Inn doggie hotel while we had to go away. They said she was the most social and happy puppy they have had. We work with her daily on scent training. She will sit on command in the kitchen, stay while we hide the treat somewhere within the house. In only a matter of seconds she can find it (under couches, in the tub, in shoes). At doggie daycare she is "hard of hearing" and likes to get all the other dogs in trouble. She is now hitting her terrible two's and is having a little bit of a hard time listening and is testing her boundaries..But at the end of the day she is very loved and completely happy going to sleep in our bed and hogging the bed the whole night!! I have included some recent pictures of some of her adventures. I will continue to send more in the months to come. Thank you for all you do with the rescue and bringing our Neela into our lives. In this short time she has become the most important part of our family! To come home and have her almost run into your arms (yes she thinks she weighs only 10 pounds) is what makes our day complete.

Chippy

7/1/15 - Used to be Chippy, now Weston, in his new home!

Condor

Update on Toby (formerly Condor) July 2, 2015: Hi Cindy! I just wanted to give you an update on Toby (adopted in April)! He's doing wonderfully! He is almost 50 pounds now! He just had his neuter appointment on Tuesday and is recovering well. He and Sammy are best friends now. He's a Mama's boy for sure.. Never leaves my side. Toby has lost almost all of his puppy fur at this point and looks very much like a golden retriever with black fur. He has learned to go potty outside, sit, paw, lay down, and speak. A very quick learner! Overall he's a sweet, gentle, affectionate boy and perfect fit for our family. I can't thank you enough for making it possible. It was truly a wonderful experience. I've attached some pictures of Toby from April to now. Thanks again! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Condor (now Toby!) is settling in at his new home. He and Sammy did very well with introductions. He is now fast asleep at my feet. Thank you so much for being so great with him and letting us adopt him into our family. I think he will be s wonderful addition to our family and we couldn't be happier. Thanks again! ...And here is a picture of him -- he's already hoarding the toys!
