Dachsador Cole

Hi Cindy, He is the smartest puppy in the whole world. 3 days in and only one minor pee accident because we were watching a movie that was too long. He lets us know every time he needs to go. No puppy pads needed! The vet said he's healthy and scheduled his next shots for mid-November and will microchip during neutering later down the road. He made a couple friends at the vet! We didn't even get a crate till today but Poe loves it oddly enough. We just keep it open and he likes to go in on his own. He brought a bunch of his toys in it and hangs out when he's not playing with us. He learned stairs up and down (after we finally stopped carrying him when he cried). He also is learning the intricacies of leash training, or maybe we are. Either way he's going on walks at least 3 times a day... After breakfast/before work, after lunch and after dinner potty/party time. We'll keep you posted for sure!!! We are all super happy.

Dachsador Caydee

Good morning Cindy. Just wanted to let you know that Daschka aka Caydee (we finally settled on her name!) is doing great!!! Already running outside on the property with the boys. Loves having her big crate to sleep in...no accidents in the house at all even overnight. Is less sure of the cats!!! Boys are good but dubious at this stage.. they will settle though I am sure :-). Chevy particularly is jealous but he has been the baby for a while and is unhappy about the potential displacement! Pictures will follow!

Update (July 6, 2016): Hi Cindy sorry it has taken me a while to send an update. We are so happy with Abby and she is happy here. She is potty trained, sits and plays with my cat Teddy all the time (Teddy looks and acts younger). Gibbs rubs against her but still doesn't have much to do with her. She loves my nieces and my sister who live next door. The girls come over and play with her all the time. She loves to chase birds, tries to round up the kids and just loves to run outside. She keeps both ears up now and has gotten taller and gained weight. She has been to the Vets twice for more shots. Everyone that sees her loves her. The first time we went to the vet she was hugging my neck while we were there and people were saying they wished their dog would do that. She goes to bed (in our bed) when we go and sleeps through the night, gets up with us the next morning. I will be sending pictures shortly, wait until you see her. Thanks so much for letting us give her a home, she is definitely the queen of the house and knows it. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Cindy, Wanted to let you know Abby is doing great. She goes all over the house and is starting to go a little further from the house when we go out for potty breaks. She is eating and drinking. She is trying really hard to play with the cats and they are letting her get a little closer with each try. Her tail wags all the time and she seems super happy. Thanks again for allowing me to adopt my new baby. Will update you again soon. Have a great night!

Dundee
Dundee

Cindy, Just wanted to let you know Darwin (formerly Dundee) did great on the car ride home. He slept most of the way. He was initially a little scared of Bailey due to his size, but 5 minutes later when Bailey went upstairs, Darwin ran to the stairs and whined until I brought him upstairs to Bailey, so I think they are starting to bond. Thanks again for everything. Michael and Tim

Darwin

Hi Cindy! Just wanted to say thank you again and let you know that things are going really well! Cooper and Hoss are getting to know each other ink the sweetest, most gentle way. Neither one has yelped or growled at one another. We have to put Cooper's food In Hoss's dish and vice versa because they insist on eating out of the other's bowl. We've only had 2 accidents, and the rest of the times he has gone out in the yard with Hoss. I feel like they will be inseparable by the end of the month. It is truly a great match. I've attached a few photos and plan to send more. Take care, Meg Pelis
