April 2015 update: Cindy, Hello again! I was inspired to send a quick update after seeing two of Tallulah's siblings on Facebook. Tally is doing great! She's still growing, and is about 65 pounds of near solid muscle right now. Her eye still bothers her, so we're looking at surgery this summer. She continues to be an absolute joy to me and I can't wait to get her out into the woods more now that the weather has turned. I hope all is well for you! Best, Kyle ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cindy, Tally and I are doing great. She is the absolute belle of the ball on campus and has gained quite the fan base already. She had a vet appointment this afternoon, all looks great. We're hoping she grows out of her entropian, but we'll see. She's settled right into our little routine and I'm looking forward to watching her grow! .... Kyle

Dustin

April 2015 - Here is Titus! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi - just wanted to let you know we made it home safely and Dustin (we named him Titus Oreo Lassandro) seems to be settling in. He is so awesome! He was so calm on the ride home (once Noah convinced him we aren't so scary). He did such a great job, and so far has done a great job with going potty outside. Kids had a blast playing and following him all over the house as he explored. Noah and Titus are already best buds which is really awesome because Noah was so shaken by losing Scooby he said he never wanted a puppy again. Right now he is snuggled with Jason and I for a little football watching before bedtime. I attached some pics of our fun day. Thanks so much again, it was so nice meeting you!!! We feel so lucky to have met you and have a new puppy in our life! PS - if in 3 or so weeks, Deanna or Darcy do not have a home, let us know. We ultimately want to have 2 anyway so they have a playmate, so if one of them needs a home in a couple weeks let us know.

Doodle McIntosh

2/19/15 Hi Sharon! Here are the latest photos of Doodle McGovern!!! He is doing great and loving the snow!! Thank you so much for sending us the baby pics of Doodle! I absolutely loved them! Take care! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Sharon & Dennis!!! So sorry that it has taken me so long to update you on Doodle. He is doing wonderful!!! We are absolutely in love with him! He has adjusted so well here. He loves his new home and has really completed our lives. He is really enjoying the sun porch and the backyard too. He loves to take walks. I take him for a walk every morning when I get out of work, Mikey takes him in in the afternoon and Shane in the late afternoons and evenings. He has made friends with other dogs in the neighborhood too. He really warmed up to our nieces and nephews and is very fond of children. He loves to chew on his toys and really loved that stuffed dog you gave him. He has been to the vet and received his shots and is about 15 lbs. now. They love Doodle there too!! Thank you so much for taking care of our little Doodle and nursing him back to health. We will be forever grateful to you both for doing that. He is such a joy and we can't imagine our lives without him! Talk to you soon, Stacy, Shane & Mikey McGovern

Derek

Helloooooo Cindy – This is a long time coming since Sunday when Lisa and I brought my new LOVE home ! First and foremost I cannot say THANK YOU enough for giving me such a WONDERFUL RESCUE PUPPY ! Everything you said about his demeanor has been spot on so far ! I keep pinching myself that he is as good as he is. He has settled in nicely and it blows me away as to how much more confident he has become with his surroundings in just really 4 days. And the kicker (FOR ME) is that Ron is absolutely over the moon about him ! Which if you knew my Ron is HUGE. He’s a great guy and fantastic with my 4 legged kids – but in all my 23 years with him never have I seen him so enamored with a puppy. These 2 guys have truly bonded. J I would highly recommend your rescue to anyone as from the get go with inquiring about Derek you and your organization are FIRST CLASS ! I will send you a few pictures here in a bit of when he arrived home and as he grows and my sister takes more pictures (as my phone is still 20th century) I will send to you. AGAIN – THANK YOU SO MUCH ! Oh and one quick question if I may……………on what his parents were? And I’m just inquiring (no worries or complaints for sure) but do you know for a fact that his Daddy was a Dane and his Mom a shepherd cross??? Or was that what you were told by the shelter in KY? I was curious if you actually laid eyes on the parents….????? Ok – have a great week and I hope all the rest of the litter has gotten great homes or will very soon ! It was so nice to meet you and your family too ! All the best – Dianne
