Hi Cindy - Well it is ending the 2nd full day and Dylan is doing great, the 1st night was good he slept with us at the foot end of our bed. :) He got us up at 2:30am to go out and then slept the rest of the night. Same for the second night, He is so good, BIG love bug. He is starting to settle in really good, getting more comfortable in his new home. Jut wanted to up date you to let you know how he is doing. I will talk you soon. Have a good night. Nicole, Lonnie & Dylan

Dove

Just wanted to give you an update. Jazzie is so good and smart, I keep saying this, but she has learned so many commands very quickly. She just went to the vet and know weighs 27 lbs. She has lost most of her black puppy fur, she still has a little on her tail...you can see it on her ears a little but you really have to look. I am going to try and attach a few pics of her. We just LOVE her so much!!! What a great addition to our family. We went on our first camping trip with her and she did great. She loves the water, she was a little scared of it at first, but once she figured out she could swim she did not want to get out!!!! She gets along great with all of our friends dogs-which is a relief!!!! Thank you so much for this little puppy!!!!

Dillon

Hi Cindy, I ,,, just wanted to give you a little info on how things are going here. Dillon is wonderful. He is a joy to have around, and such a good little guy. He is taking to our schedule very quickly, which just makes things so much easier for everyone. He makes new friends with everyone he's met so far. Yesterday we took him to our vet for his third shot and to have him check him out, and our vet absolutely fell in love with him. Dr Stone is very impressed with what you have done to make sure he is healthy. I told him that you were a lot like him.... a worryier.... LOL Dillon just has such a great personality, and it doesn't hurt that he's a cutie too. The only thing we are finding we need to work on is getting Shelby to leave him alone once in awhile. She just adores him so much. But they play together well and Dillon does let her know when she's getting too pushy. Anyway, things are going very well.... he continues to wag his tail constantly while hoovering up his food.... it makes us feel good to know that he is happy. I hope things are well on your end. Keep up the good work you do, and I have recommended Safe At Last to any of my friends who mentioned they may be thinking about adopting a puppy. Thanks again, I will keep in touch. - Deb Another update: Hi Cindy, I hope this email finds everything good on your end. I have looked at your latest puppies and they are cuties too. I hope they all get the great homes they deserve. We took Dillon for his Rabies shot and another puppy checkup yesterday, and the little moose now weighs in at 24 lbs. The vet mentioned once again he'd be very happy to take him home with him and I told him flat out NO (we are friends, he likes teasing me). Shelby was also due for her 4x heartworm test so we had them both there at the same time.....Dillon is very relaxed and loves meeting everyone.... Shelby just gets nervous and jerky. LOL Dillon will be starting puppy classes the week after next, next week it's for parents alone, and hopefully we will all learn some things. He is not very hard to train...... he listens well and learns quickly. We feel like it'll be beneficial for him to meet other puppies his size, even tho by the picture you can tell he's quickly catching up to Shelby. Shelby loves him and has calmed down a bit with her intensity on most things. We are just so glad Dillon is such a laid back, easy going sweet guy. He continues to give you that "look" as he runs around with his toys in his mouth......and still wags his tail the whole time he is devouring his food..... :-))) The vet asked me how he is you know with behaving etc....and I told him again "he's a pleasure to have around" and that's saying something for a 16 week old or so puppy. He plays well with Harley our cat too, tho I haven't been able to get a good picture of them doing their playing thing. Harley lets Dillon know when she's done playing and he respects that. He is just a blast to have around and is helping in his own Dillon way to fill that empty spot we needed eased a little. Just wanted to send you a picture and a note. I know if I were a foster mom I'd like to see my puppies gradual growth, and know they were healthy and happy in their new homes. We are pretty confident that Dillon is happy being part of our family. Take Care, Deb & Bob

Daisy
Daisy

Hi Cindy, just a quick note to tell you that Luna (formerly Daisy) is doing great. She went to the vet and had her shots and a physical. Oscar enrolled her in a puppy plan where everything is included in the first year so she will be well taken care of. The little stinker got a tick near her eye and I took her to the vet to have it removed as I was afraid of not getting the whole thing. He put her on an antibiotic for 10 days as a precaution. She is doing great with her poops and not too bad with the pee pee. I think it was an adjustment for her coming here and only going outside to potty but she is a delight and every one of Oscar's patients love her. I am looking into getting a trainer so she can help with therapy when she is older. She is very sweet and social which is a good sign and not at all protective of me or Oscar. She loves her marrow bone with a little cream cheese in it. Her favorite toy is an empty water bottle. She plays soccer with it. I have to take the wrapper off or she will try to eat it. She is really teething... . Well hope all is well with you and the puppies. Oscar just loves Luna. She understands both english and spanish :) Thanks again for trusting us with her. Will send pics soon. Take care, Robin
