Maxx
Hi Cindy,
Gaston (aka Maxx) is doing fine. He is at home behaving as a young puppy would. Mia and Gaston play all day long if left alone and they won't notice how tired they are. Mia issometimes a bit rough with him, but he's holding his own. He's quite sensitive and easy
to train, he already knows sit. He also hasn't had an accident and sleeps through the night. He is also very affectionate.
I don't think he is very submissive. That said, Mia and Gaston eat together out of the same food bowl, but since he needs different food, we need to separate them during feeding time. But the two of them are inseparable now.
There's is zero aggression between them.
Speaking of food, Gaston is a picky eater, he doesn't eat much and sometimes I need to feed him out of my hand. But he seems to be growing and looks and behaves like a healthy
puppy. The vet also didn't find anything wrong with him. After a few days he now feels at home and is quite naughty. He steals everything he can get his paws on and also started chewing. We have to watch him all the time. He doesn't spend much time in the
crate, only when he's tired or we can't watch him. After a few minutes of protest, he then sleeps. At night he's with us in our bedroom and we are already leaving the door to his crate open. Mia is keeping him busy. To be frank I sometimes don't know who is the
younger puppy, because often Mia instigates the play.
We have to sometimes call a time out for both since it is too much. But at the end the day, both have had their workout.
Overall, everything is as expected and Gaston seems to be an easy dog, in fact the easiest we ever had. He is doing very good. He will be a very lovely member of our family.
I attached a few photos of Gaston. I think he grew a little bit, but weightwise, I could not tell, since he is still around 22lbs.
Thanks for helping us adopt Gaston!

Lady Lola
Hi Cindy,
I hope this Easter and Passover finds you well. I was deleting many
messages and came across this one below. as a saved message. An
anniversary of three years I happened to note today. I will forward
you a picture separate, but please know that Lady Lola remains the
"love" I believe you knew her to be.
I got her a cheap DNA test. Hope you are not upset with that. My
husband did not approve. :) Top two breads came back- German Short haired
Pointer/Parson Russell terrier. When I throw out Corgi /Spaniel that works
for most people when they see her and all agree she is cute. Go
figure! People ask me routinely on the dog walk to the Great South Bay
which is a special walk and the beach, when I can do it (off season).
Lola covets a simple walk around the block and yes, playing ball. She
is a great jumper for the tennis ball!! She has a bit of an ability for
agility too! Have taken a couple of classes for fun only and hope to
set up my silly thing in the back yard again if Spring ever comes.
Don't look for her at Westminster but she is fast! I am so grateful
that she is the such a nice dog. I now have a grandbaby girl and at 13
months I can say she and Lola are becoming pals. I think they are going
to be good friends. Lola has always been gentle in nature but she is
a bit of an attention hound. My eldest son is her "sitter " if needed and
she is happy at his house too. All in all Lola has been a gift to our
family. Figured a great day to let you know!
All the best.

Timothy-Mason
Cindy, Good to hear from you, and glad all the pups now have new homes. We renamed Tim, Miloh-Henry, and he is doing great. He has come to the shop a few days, and greeted, kissed customers and my helpers. He is learning to walk on the lead a bit, and his potty outside mostly.
We have a crate filled with his toys and blankets so he sleeps through the night there, and is ready to romp in the morning. I take him to our vet Monday for the next shots. I'm sure they will fall in love with him too! Sending along a recent photo.Toni and Joe
