Update on Livy with new pic (May 2016): Hi Cindy! Just wanted to share this picture with you of Livy. Life with our
baby girl is wonderful thank you so much for choosing us to adopt this
smart, sweet, and sassy pup! Happy Memorial Day!
Best,
Caroline and family

Here is Livy all tucked in at home, having fun at Canandaigua lake (where
she went for her first swim and boat ride!) and sleeping soundly on the
drive back to our home. She is such a love- everywhere we go people stop to
cuddle her and ask where we got her and say how adorable she is (and boy
does she adore meeting new people!). She will be starting puppy classes and
playtime later this week!

Hi Cindy! Livy had her first vet appointment with us this morning and she
is doing wonderfully! She now weighs 13.4 pounds! Growing so fast and has
adjusted to life with us very happily by now. She plays with our neighbor's
dogs and loves taking naps under our small fountain outside. Will send
pictures later today.
We hope her siblings get adopted fast- she is truly a friendly, sweet, and loving girl!

Brandon
Here is a wonderful update on Brandon, who was adopted a little over 6 years ago:
He is doing well and very happy and healthy. I feel bad that my husband
and I never updated you about him. He is a sweet, loving dog and yes, he
still gives many kisses. Shortly after we adopted him, my Mother was put
in Hospice care and Brandon did not want to leave her side (he would want
to get up on her bed and when we tried to take him out, he begged to go
back up on the bed). The night she passed away, he stayed under her bed
until she took her last breath and then he came out from under the bed;
almost like he knew when her soul was leaving her body...amazing.
He is a really good boy and we are lucky to have him. My husband and
Brandon have a special play time every night (I'm not sure who enjoys it
more...Brandon or my husband, Dan)....
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to give Brandon a loving home.

Lil House Pup Mary
Well, it's official. Dixie is her name, and we are in love. She made it almost all the way home before she threw up on Sam's lap. He then almost threw up cleaning it up. It was quite the moment.
After that, we stopped at Grandma Polly's and she's a fan. We came home and Kate is thrilled. She immediately agreed that her name should be Dixie.
Nanny (the other grandmother) came to visit and brought doggie gates - and she too is in love.
We are so happy.
Thank you again. ...Have a good night and I will email an update in a few weeks. ~ Deb
Samson
Update on Renzo/formerly Samson (4/28/16): Hi Cindy!
Just thought I'd touch base and let you know Renzo is doing GREAT! He's
growing like a weed, has a voracious appetite, and pretty much just loves
life! He's already been on a road trip to Maryland to meet all of the
grandchildren (and is getting ready to go again in a few days) and goes on
all my errands with me so he can get as much socialization as possible.
Oh, and his two favorite things in the world are playing soccer with me (he
literally would do it for hours if I had the stamina!) and now, after
today, swimming in the creek with Missy Brown.
I could not possibly love this puppy more than I do. He is AMAZING! Thank
you again for saving him and bringing him into our life!

Cindy,
Just wanted to let you know that Renzo's homecoming went perfectly.... even better than I had hoped or imagined. We had a short *meet and greet* outside which went great and then took them for a walk together. He and
Missy seemed to fall in love instantly! When we brought them inside, Renzo
slinked around at first like he had never been in a house before.... it was
sad but sweet at the same time. It only took him a minute to settle right
in and he and Missy are doing fabulously together! They've shared treat time together (kongs filled with a little doggie peanut butter) and now are
snoozing away!
We seriously could not be more thrilled. He is even more amazing than we thought and we can't take our eyes off of him. Thank you, thank you, thank
you for rescuing him and letting us love him for the rest of his life!!!
