Update (4/28/16): Hi Cindy,
Where did Spring go? We have the wood stove going tonight!
I have attached some pictures as well as a picture of Hank's Neutering bill.
He was neutered today. If you need anything further please let me know.
He did very well today, vet actually called me at 12:30 to pick him up, he was
awake and wanted out of there ASAP!
He has been hard to contain......thinks he is superman! Vet not only thinks he
is the cutest puppy alive.....but also one that has a very high pain resistance as
she says he didn't seem to miss a beat....and was the fastest wake up she's ever
seen!
He just loves camp......you should see him bark at the deer target the boys have set up
for archery. They just change the head position and it's a whole new deer to Hank!
Trenton is planning on training him to track....they are using my camp slippers and my
feet.....I don't know if they are trying to tell me something, but when I leave my slippers
laying around, Hank sniffs them and then finds me and sniffs my feet! Trenton is assured
that this means he is going to make a fantastic tracking dog! I don't know for what, as we don't hunt, perhaps tracking for lost homework papers?
He has claimed his spot on the swing in front of the camp fire with Zoey....I think we are going to need a bigger swing!
He has slowed in his growing spurt, don't know if he will get much bigger, and boy is he smart! I will try and send you a video when he is fully healed, but he loves to climb up the ladder of the swing set and slide down the slide! I have only had one other dog be able to climb a ladder, my very first dog Timmy, he was a German Sheppard mix and I wish I had pictures, he had the same white tail tip as Hank does!!!!
I hope all is well with you and your adoptive perspectives! I check the facebook page often and share it on my FB as well.
Our best to everyone, human, canine and feline......
Alice and Hank

Update on Jonathan/now Hank (March 25, 2016):
Hi Cindy,
We did our first vet visit today and Hank (Jonathan) did just fantastic.
He is now 11.4 lbs of complete lovable energy! He has settled in here with
humans, canines, felines and pet birds like he was born here! We have
been out to visit camp,( I will forward that picture on separately)he loves to ride in the car. He has two favorite all time things to do.....ruff house with his older sister Zoey (our Jack Russel) and try and take the blue thing away from Trent when we are out playing ball
with Indy.....the blue thing being the "wand" that throws the tennis ball! He
just loves being cuddled by everyone and takes turns every night going from
lap to lap. We couldn't be happier with his adjustment into our family! Can't think of what it was like 3 weeks ago without him. Griffen, the African Grey calls his name every morning for breakfast......and if we find an accident (very few now) Griffen says
Ahhhh, Hank......
I have attached a few pictures. Love keeping up to date with his litter mates on facebook.
Hope all is well with you!
Alice

Hi Cindy,
So the final vote was Hank, with the thought of calling him Hank the Tank as
he grows into those paws......
He rode home like a champ in between both boys and playing with a new toy.
Our guys never missed a beat, Zoey laying on her back wanting to play and
Indy just trying to get close enough without sitting on him.
He kissed everybody!!!
He is sleeping on the couch with Zoey right now....
I have attached some pictures for you. I will keep you posted without
overwhelming you but we want you to know we couldn't be happier with
our new little addition!
Thanks so much,
Alice

Her first trip was great⦠many a customer gave her attention, and were amazed by how cute she is. (They ALL say⦠is she a boxer? Cracks me up⦠of course my answer⦠if she is a Boxer, someone shrunk her!)
Thought I would share this picture. It melts my heart⦠She is just awesome and we love her so.
Thank you again, and hope I catch you one of these days at the farm!

Update on Jasmine/now Harper Lee: Hi Cindy!
Our Harper Lee was just to the vet for a check up and for her distemper... She is now 7.6 lbs of puppy awesomeness!
She is such a joy to us all! So smart, so cuddly, full of fun and a whole lot of personality. We just love her so much.
Thank you so much for all you do, not just for the puppies, but for their happy families too!
Hope all is well, and hope your next litter finds new wonderful homes.
Sarah
P.S. Enjoy the pictures! The last one is Harper helping me to do some computer work!
(she likes upside down naps!)

Hello!
We are having the best day ever! Your little Jasmine is now our little Harper. (But the kids are also calling her Harper Lee!) She is doing great!
She successfully went potty outside 3 times, taken 2 naps on one of us, had play times, eaten half of her supper, and claimed the bean bag chairs as her own personal puppy bed. Only a few whimpers so farâÃÂæ when we were eating dinner, and she was left without a play pal. But she did great, and found a few toys to play with. Now she is taking another nap! (Oh! She also likes to watch some TV!)
Quick questionâÃÂæ how much chicken broth are you putting in her food? Just enough to wet it? or are we liking soup? I forgot to ask that!!
We absolutely love her. Liam cried tears of joy today. Of course, I then had to cry a few happy tears myself.
Thank you so much! We will keep in touch!
Sarah
P.S.I so hope the other 2 puppies are adopted soon, and are doing ok without their siblings.
Lil House Pup Carrie
Update on Bessie (formerly our Lil House Pup Carrie):
Hi Cindy.........sending a few pics of Bessie that I took last weekend.
She is adjusting very well and is loved by all who have met her. When I
took her to the vet last week, they raved about the records you kept and
how well she was cared for.....that not all rescues are that meticulous.
You do a wonderful job with little animals!
I am sending you a donation to your Safe At Last endeavor. I felt guilty
taking so much from you when you sent us off. I have many things already
since I had just lost my other dog. Your generosity makes me want to give
back to you!
Thank you again for taking such good care of our little animals who cant
care for themselves! You are one of God's angels!
Love and hugs.....Sue
ps.....that little sweater is one I had made for my other dog.......I was
so happy that it fit her like a glove! ;o)

Hi Sharon,
We finally got around to sending these to you. I hope they are what you were looking for. She is doing great. She thinks that she is boss here and she's right. She runs the house....
Thanks,

Jennah
Update on Bella (formerly Jennah):
Cindy,
We hope this finds you well!
Bella is doing great! Attached is a photo of her enjoying herself out in
our woods. She loves exploring and running around with her sister Dizzy,
brother Arthur, and best friend, Quinzi.
She is super smart and has a huge personality.
She sends her foster Mom much love... and we send our appreciation for such
a wonderful addition to our family.
Enjoy your weekend!

Cindy,
Rob and Bella (AKA Jennah) are home safe and sound. Wow - she is a
sweetheart! Our son, Quinzi has not left her side since they met. Within 5
seconds he was calling her Bella, and they are getting along famously. He
is enamored with her. Dizzy is enjoying the cow hoof, and both she and
Arthur think that Bella is interesting.
Thanks for the care package for Bella; she is sleeping with her toys right
now.
Thank you so much - we will keep in touch!
With appreciation,
Nancy, Rob, Quinzi, Dizzy, Arthur & Bella
