3/22/15 Rex has been with us for two years as of today! He's gone from taking up my whole lap to the whole couch. Thank you for Rex and for all you do. I hope the rest of the K litter is doing well. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cindy, Hello! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to send you an update and Rex's neuter certificate (just so you have a copy, as discussed at the adoption, the $35 was a donation). Rex is doing very well. Currently he is almost 40 lbs, and is recovering nicely from his recent surgery. He graduated puppy class, and only has a few more teeth to go before all his puppy teeth are gone! I looked at a picture of him yesterday from his adoption date, and I can't believe how much he's grown. Honestly, he's becoming more fun every day (and finds more trouble to get into, but that comes with growing up). I love to watch him explore and learn. Everyone still loves him when they meet him, and he loves everyone. ...I've been told more and more that he resembles Scooby-Doo :) . Also, I thought I'd share this photo with you. Rex has definitely grown! The puppy picture was from his first day home, and the bottom picture was from this morning. :) Hope you're doing well! Nicole

Dempsey

Hey Cindy! Just letting you know that me and Dempsey have had an awesome weekend so far! I've never seen a puppy so well behaved and as obedient as him. We went on hikes, dog parks and stores and he's been great. he's much better with his leash already and has not had an accident once in the house yet Will be sending pictures soon Thank you so much again -Tyler, Amanda, and Dempsey!

March 2015 - Beau didn't enjoy bath time, but he's all clean and shiny now. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi! Beau is doing really well! He's become John's dog already. They're inseparable. Beau whines when John leaves the room to go take a shower. John keeps him very active. One of their favorite things is for John to run up and down the hallway with Beau hot on his heels. Right now he's trying to teach Beau to fetch and let go by rolling the tennis ball through the dining room and kitchen. Watching Beau slide around on the floor is a bonus. Beau seemed to do okay when we brought him home, but I knew he'd decided we were alright when he finally stopped exploring and deigned to play with the toys. He was taken with the stuffed cat that makes rustling paper sounds that you included in the care package. It's been a while since we've had a puppy in the house, so we're getting used to puppy-proofing the place all over again. We just got home from Beau's vet visit at Cobleskill Vet and he's doing really well. We've got him scheduled for shots (distemper, rabies and lyme) in January.
