Update on Laila (July 2015): Hi Cindy, We just wanted to send you a quick email and give you an update on Laila. As you can see from the attached photos she is having a great summer so far! This was our first year taking Duke out on the boat so it was new for both of them. Duke prefers to relax on the boat and Laila is happy romping in the water. Laila has been keeping Duke young with her energy but he does not seem to mind since he never looses his patience with her no matter how many times she bites his ears :) She is such a fantastic dog and we are so happy to have her as part of our family. Love, Kim, Brett, Duke and Laila. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Cindy, We just wanted to let your know that Laila is doing great! The photo I am sending is from Monday evening so as you can see she is no longer afraid of Duke :) She used the dog door for the first time all on her on this evening to potty outside so she is well on her way to being house broken. She can now hold her bladder for 4 hours which is great! She goes to the vets on Friday and afterwards I will take her to work so she can meet some of my co workers. She is definitely feeling comfortable here and is a playful happy pup. Duke has been a great big brother to her and we are all happy she is part of our family. Best, Kim and Brett
