Meet our little man Woodrow (aka “Woody”), who came to us from our rescue friends in South Carolina.  This 12-yr-old fella is sweet as pie.  Our best assessment (NO GUARANTEE) is that he is a Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix.  He is 21 lbs of happiness and smiles!!

Beyond being such a handsome boy, with his beautiful apricot-colored soft, wavy coat, Woody is a joyful little guy who loves life!  He does great getting along with his foster siblings, and he loves to be outside running around, especially on a nice warm fall afternoon.

Woody also loves affection and attention from his people.  He does great riding in the car, meeting and greeting folks, and just seems to be loving each and every day. 

In terms of his medical, Woody is neutered and up-to-date on his shots.  He does have cataracts (which is not uncommon in a senior) – but he can see just fine.  He also has a slight limp – and this is due to a former injury which occurred when he was young.  Again, this does not hamper his happiness or his ability to be bopping around with his doggie pals and foster parents.

Our little Woodrow is another wonderful senior who has so much life left and so much love to share.  We are seeking a forever family who will welcome him with open arms and love and cherish him for all of his days.

Woodrow is being fostered in Worcester, NY (Otsego County).  Approved adopters are required to go to the foster home to complete the adoption.

Finally, you must submit the Safe at Last adoption application & be approved prior to meeting any of our rescue animals.   If you do not submit the Safe at Last adoption application, we cannot consider you.
