Rusty and siblings (also seeking their forever homes & posted on our website) were rescued by their good samitaritan caretaker from a dairy barn situation.  The kitties have been with her for weeks, and she has vetted them and worked at getting them healthy and happy.  There is a definite preference that the kitties be adopted in pairs as indicated in their biographies.  Single adoptions will be considered, but double adoptions will be given preference.  An adoption fee - to help defray some of the costs of their caretaker - also applies - $150/pair or $100/kitten.

This is what Rusty's caretaker has to say about him:  

Rusty is an orange tabby with no white, born about 5/1/22 and is Maisie’s brother. He’s been treated for parasites and received his first distemper shot on 8/10.  He and his siblings were rescued from a dairy farm covered in fleas, had ear mites and where they would have faced dangers from predators, farm machinery and livestock.

Rusty is very outgoing and swings by to see what’s going on so he doesn’t miss out on anything fun. When he’s not wrestling with his siblings, chasing balls and fuzzy mice or dashing through a tunnel, his favorite spot is climbing up the cat tree and supervising from up high. He’s adventurous and things don’t seem to faze him; he rolls with whatever new comes his way. Very friendly, he’s always purring and rubbing on your legs looking for attention and a lap to curl up on after playtime.

He ignores our well-mannered large dog, and would prefer to have one of his siblings as a playmate as he’s high energy. Would be best to adopt with either Maisie, Sparky or Petey.
