Momma Bonnie & her positively darling pups came to us all the way from Ohio due to the dedicated efforts of wonderful volunteer rescue workers in that area.  We are so thrilled to have this fabulous family with us.  Momma Bonnie is a total doll-baby.  She is a sweet girl, social, obedient, gets along well with people and other dogs, is housetrained, and is just a joy. She is an active girl (on the higher end of moderate), who likes to play and loves toys.  She is also very smart and responsive to commands.  In a short time, Bonnie has learned some basic commends, including "sit" and "drop it."  She has no fear issues, is a friendly, personable dog, and enjoys the company of and actvities with her humans.  We believe that Bonnie would be an ideal agility dog.  If you are looking for an active, sweet, well adjusted, medium-sized girl, our Bonnie could be the one for you!!  (However, we did "cat test" Bonnie, and while she might adjust to a kitty after some time and training, we would not feel comfortable placing her in a home with cats at this time.)

Adopting a dog is a fabulous, joyful experience, but it is also a serious, long-term responsibility.  If you have the time, willingness and ability to provide a committed, loving home to our dear Bonnie -- for her whole life, no matter what may lie ahead in yours -- we would love to hear from you. 

To be considered for adoption, please go to our website, register and then log back on with you user name and password to complete the online adoption application (under "Forms/Applications" on the lefthand side of the homepage).  We will be in touch as soon as we have your application, and we are happy to assist through the review process.  Our review process is very straightforward, but it does involve reference checks, a phone interview, & a home assessment.  An adoption fee of $200 (plus a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit, required by NYS law) also apply. 

Please know that 100% of your adoption fee pays for medical expenses, transport fees, food, "pull fees" from the shelters or other expenses and necessaries for our animals or other dogs in need.  We are all volunteers and we take nothing for our time and effort, and the reality is that we could not continue our efforts without your support.  So, in advance, we thank you!
