Meet handsome Dakotah, who came to us from KY along with siblings Anna, Yona, Abey, Kimi, Mochican, Onondaga, Pooseatuck, and Tuscarora.  These pups are happy, playful, affectionate babies.  As for breed mix, our best assessment is that they all have retriever, but there appear to be several dads in this litter -- perhaps shepherd, chow, redbone coonhound... 

Right now (10/31), we estimate that the pups are between 12 and 13 weeks old (as confirmed by our vet).  We expect they will range from the upper end of medium to large when full grown.  

As for love-bug Dakotah, he is as sweet as he is handsome.  He is outgoing, social and affectionate.  He loves to play with his siblings, but he loves to get attention and loving from his humans.  He is a happy, well-adjusted pup with a lovely personality.  Based on his coloring, body structure and overall appearance, we believe that Dakotah has Redbone Coonhound in his mix.  We expect he will be large when full grown (perhaps 75 lbs or so).  This boy (like his brother Mochican) is truly a gentle giant... He is absolutely gentle, sweet and loving.  He loves to give gentle kisses and get plenty of belly runs... Dakotah is a gorrgeous pup, inside and out, and is so ready for his forever family, where he will be loved and sherished for all of his days.

All of these pups are being fostered in private homes; we do not have a centralized facility.  THEREFORE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT MEET THE PUPS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR ADOPTION.  AND, YOU CANNOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.  ALSO, APPROVED ADOPTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO THE FOSTER HOME (IN SCHOHARIE COUNTY, NY) TO COMPLETE THE ADOPTION.  WE DO NOT DELIVER OR SHIP OUR RESCUE ANIMALS.
