Foreman

6/30/15 - So, you're not going to believe this, but I was just laying here and this stuffed animal exploded, all by itself. ~Captain ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cindy, Just wanted to share a couple of photos of Captain, settling into his new home. He's doing quite well! He so desperately wants to play with the cat, but she's not quite sure of him, yet. I think they will became great friends :) Thanks, The May Family ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Foreman (now Captain) on his way to NH to his forever home. He has already proved to be a great pup, here he is laying next to my daughter while we ate sandwiches, in the car. He was a perfect gentleman, the whole time. We are so excited to have him in our life. Thanks, Cindy, for making this adoption such a wonderful experience.

Frosty

March 2015 - Beau didn't enjoy bath time, but he's all clean and shiny now. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi! Beau is doing really well! He's become John's dog already. They're inseparable. Beau whines when John leaves the room to go take a shower. John keeps him very active. One of their favorite things is for John to run up and down the hallway with Beau hot on his heels. Right now he's trying to teach Beau to fetch and let go by rolling the tennis ball through the dining room and kitchen. Watching Beau slide around on the floor is a bonus. Beau seemed to do okay when we brought him home, but I knew he'd decided we were alright when he finally stopped exploring and deigned to play with the toys. He was taken with the stuffed cat that makes rustling paper sounds that you included in the care package. It's been a while since we've had a puppy in the house, so we're getting used to puppy-proofing the place all over again. We just got home from Beau's vet visit at Cobleskill Vet and he's doing really well. We've got him scheduled for shots (distemper, rabies and lyme) in January. I'm attaching a few photos I took on Beau's first day. Melanie

Frankie

Update on Frankie (May 2014): Frankie is ready for summer!! I got him a visor to keep the sun out of his eyes. Has no trouble keeping it on. ...Sometimes Freddie will share his bed with Frankie. But Frankie rather sleep by me. He needs a couple of light shirts because I am afraid he'll get sunburned. Fur on his tummy is coming in like peach fuzz. Its been lots of fun watching him running around the yard like crazy man. Loves all kinds of stuffed animals. Got him a ball and he'll chase it down the hall and sometimes bring it back. Everything this summer is fun for him. The flowers, grass rocks, dirt, trees. He likes to sit on the deck and watch the leaves on the trees and birds. Great little personality is coming thru. Still follows me from room to room. When I go out he runs to side fence to see me go down the street. He knows the sound of my car and runs to the fence and lets out these unbelievable cries. .... Everything is coming along as Frankie finds his comfort zone. I honestly could not have asked for any little dog to be more lovable than he is. Frankie is VERY smart. Hope this finds you in good health. Did you find a family for Heidi? I think about her all the time. I would have taken both of them if I could. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Sharon, ... I just love him to pieces. He is so happy when I come home, jumping and barking just like my Nadia did when she was a puppy. I knew when I saw his little face on the web he was meant for me. My cousin said Nadia picked him out for me so I wouldn't miss her so much. Frankie is not snappy when someone comes near me and you should see him with my granddaughter who is 9mos. She crawls now and he cleans her ears! They are the same height. He thinks she will play, and she does, crawling after him. is very sweet boy. Thank you so much.

Fred

Theresa, I just love Fred and he is settling in. He's grown quite comfortable in the house and now will come into the bedroom to sleep at night. When he was sleeping in the living room there were many whimpers but he would not come to the bedroom. He is eating more regularly and has taken to the new food. Fred is delighted with his basket of toys. He prefers to remove them all to see what he wants to play with at that moment. He loved the tan/brown squeaker you gave him but last night ripped out the stuffing. The purple dachshund has had the stuffing removed from his head. He has put holes in 2 balls. We play fetch in the house and I can't wait for better weather to get him outdoors in the dog park and the yard. Jack the cat still gives me a malevolent stare but the gate goes down tomorrow and we will all just have to get along. Fred has a vet appointment to meet Dr. Karney and get his booster on Tuesday evening. So we are happy and look forward to a long relationship. Thank you for thinking of me and introducing me to this great dog. Susan, Fred and (reluctantly) Jack
