Joy

Hi Cindy, The puppy previously known as Joy (now Bella) is doing great! It took a couple of days for the rest of the pack to get used to her, but now they get along great. Bella likes to play with Annie (our chocolate lab) and Buddy (our terrier mix) especially. I've attached a photo for you. I am going to try and get a pic with Bella and the rest of the crew this weekend. Thanks for checking in! Regards, Bill

Julie

It is now quarter of seven, and Julie is settled in for the night!! What an amazing dog. She ate a wonderful supper, I went out with her and walked around the yard so she would feel comfortable, she came in and immediately got in my lap while I watched the news. She sticks to me like glue, knows her name, and has impeccable manners!!!!! We are already a team. Many many thanks to you and Em for the care you give these wonderful dogs before they find their forever homes.

"Emily's Pup" Elias

So I'm not sure if you remember us but I came into your organization 3 years ago in April! I was blessed to have gotten a fuzzy bear looking animal who has touched my heart ever since. Otus is now almost 3 and 75 lbs! We now reside in Colorado and figured we"d say hello after several years. I have attached some current pictures of him including his picture of when we took him home to today when we ago rescued a puppy who needed a loving home. So I just wanted to say thank you and hope all is well! Seasons greetings from Ashley , Otus and the newest member Brutus from Colorado!

Taz

Hi Cindy, just wanted to send a quick update on Taz, now called Enzo. He's doing great!! We brought him to the Adirondacks and, as you'll see in the photos, he is completely at home with us and our dogs. He seems to be completely house-broken! We've had NO accidents and he immediately pees when he is let out. He only whined/yelped a bit the first night when we put him in a kennel in our bedroom where our other dogs, Ranger (the 7 1/2 y.o. Golden) and Schatzi (the 2 y.o. Griffon) also sleep. Since the first night, we leave the kennel door open and he wanders in on his own whenever he wants to take a nap. We were a bit concerned because he growled at our other dogs the first day whenever they approached him. But he never growls at people and now is very happy in the company of Ranger and Schatzi. He follows us everywhere and we've taken him on a couple of the "shorter" (1 mile or less) dog walks. Otherwise he is home with Kelvin while I take the older dogs for longer treks. I have an appointment at the Cobleskill Vet clinic on Saturday for Enzo's last booster shots. We're still trying to figure out what breeds he is a mix of and how big he will eventually be. I hope you find loving homes for Sydney and Kiwi soon! If any potential families want to hear about their sibling Taz/Enzo I'd be happy to talk to them and tell them how wonderfully Enzo has adjusted to his adopted family. Have a nice weekend! Nan

Joey Harris

Little Joey Harris found his forever home with a former adopter of ours, who adopted our Omega a little over a year ago. Here is big sister Omega and Joey getting to know each other!
