Helloooooo Cindy – This is a long time coming since Sunday when Lisa and I brought my new LOVE home ! First and foremost I cannot say THANK YOU enough for giving me such a WONDERFUL RESCUE PUPPY ! Everything you said about his demeanor has been spot on so far ! I keep pinching myself that he is as good as he is. He has settled in nicely and it blows me away as to how much more confident he has become with his surroundings in just really 4 days. And the kicker (FOR ME) is that Ron is absolutely over the moon about him ! Which if you knew my Ron is HUGE. He’s a great guy and fantastic with my 4 legged kids – but in all my 23 years with him never have I seen him so enamored with a puppy. These 2 guys have truly bonded. J I would highly recommend your rescue to anyone as from the get go with inquiring about Derek you and your organization are FIRST CLASS ! I will send you a few pictures here in a bit of when he arrived home and as he grows and my sister takes more pictures (as my phone is still 20th century) I will send to you. AGAIN – THANK YOU SO MUCH ! Oh and one quick question if I may……………on what his parents were? And I’m just inquiring (no worries or complaints for sure) but do you know for a fact that his Daddy was a Dane and his Mom a shepherd cross??? Or was that what you were told by the shelter in KY? I was curious if you actually laid eyes on the parents….????? Ok – have a great week and I hope all the rest of the litter has gotten great homes or will very soon ! Hi Cindy - Well it is ending the 2nd full day and Dylan is doing great, the 1st night was good he slept with us at the foot end of our bed. :) He got us up at 2:30am to go out and then slept the rest of the night. Same for the second night, He is so good, BIG love bug. He is starting to settle in really good, getting more comfortable in his new home. Jut wanted to up date you to let you know how he is doing. hi cindy - i wanted to take a moment to thank you for all you do! sole (formerly known as ZuZu) has been a wonderful addition to our family. sharon did a spectacular job of raising her and caring for her until we could take her home. sole is extremely smart and silly and just a bit timid. however, she is a quick study and is learning so much in her new environment. she's been to the vet and will begin puppy kindergarden next week. the vet suggests spaying her at around 7 months old when we will also have her microchipped. we love her and will keep you posted! thanks again to you and sharon. best, andrea

Update: Hi Cindy, I thought you'd like to know that Lotsa continues to be a great puppy! She is taking well to her training - learning her sits, stays, downs, & shares incredibly fast. I think it helps that she has her "big brother" Endo (also a rescue) to model good behavior for her. It's so fun to watch them romp around - we joke that we have our own YouTube channel going 24/7! She continues to love being in our laps & has recently discovered the joys of the couch. She just had her 2nd vet appointment & is very healthy & up to 25 pounds already! She had her 2nd round of shots (& will go back again in 2 weeks for the last). We'll schedule her spay appointment for when she nears 6 months or so. I've attached a couple of photos of Lotsa & Endo so you can see how much fun she's having exploring the world. All our best, Erika & Derek ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hi Cindy, Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our new puppy! We renamed her Lotsa (as in Lots 'a spots). She & Endo are getting along just fine. In fact, they're both SO relaxed, but they are starting to romp a little bit, especially when we are on one of our 100-times-a-day pee walks. Lotsa hasn't had an accident indoors & hasn't chewed anything but her toys (yet). As I type she is laying at my feet, totally zonked out from her big day. She loves being outside in the yard, especially running through tall plants & rolling around - very cute! However, she is VERY interested in the chickens so we'll have to be careful to train her not to chase them. Needless to say, we are 100% smitten! Vet appointment made for next Monday. Thank you for rescuing Lotsa & for making a match with our family. I hope that Sydney is headed to his forever home soon too. Best, Erika
