Zane

Zane, now Teddy (on the right in the photo), just sent his Aunt Cindy a note: Auntie Cindy: Just wanted you to see how much I have grown. I love being with this family. I get spoiled rotten. The only problem is I get kissed and hugged way too much. My big sister is teaching me the ropes. I get to see in the highrise (bow window) with Harley. We play chase all of the time. I play chase with mom and dad too! I Don't want them to get lazy. Just want you to know I am very happy. I will come visit soon. Love ya Teddy

Xannon

UPDATE:Hi Sharon, We just wanted to check in and say hi. Xannon is going to the vet tomorrow to get neutered and get his extra claws removed (the vets refers to those as danglers). He's getting so big. I'll get a copy of his neuter paperwork once I get it. I attached a copy pictures, Jorge has decided Xannon isn't so bad after all, at least when he's sleeping anyway. Everyone is getting along well and Xannon is doing great. He's still Bellas shadow and drives her crazy but she's great with him. I hope all is well with you and your babies. I check out the new babies all the time even though 2 is enough for me. I have to say I have fallen in love with Brutus's picture and hope his finds a forever home soon. I'll talk to you soon and get you the paperwork in his neutering. Take care and d enjoy the newest pictures. Tracy, Bella, Xannon and Jorge ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Sharon, We made it home. Grammie fell in love with the little man. He slept all the way home. He and Bella are getting along great... Thank you for everything. ... Tracy, Bella and Xannon

Elsa
Elsa

I was planning to write you guys today. First of all thank you thank you thank you thank you for this lovely little girl. She's amazing and we are just so in love with her. We drove down to nyc with me and her in the back. It was a long ride and as we got to nyc we got stuck in incredible traffic jam and thunder and lightning for 2 hours. cars, horns, ambulance sirens, music blasting out of other cars, motorcycles - she was overwhelmed but she didn't bark once. She tried to hide behind me and i held her tight and talked to her and petted her constantly. She did so well. However, she doesn't seem to be that housebroken or she may be just too afraid of the outside. When she got home, she felt safe - our apt. is very quiet - and she immediately pooped and peed. No harsh words. It was all too much for her. There have been many many many walks outside yesterday and this morning she pooped and peed outside. Huge success. I also took her down the street to the park and it was quiet enough for her to actually look around and she discovered that the part is full of squirrels!!! She went nuts. she levitated. All she wanted to do was to chase them. She is truly a feist. She was really happy. She got herself stuck in the iron fence even though she was on leash so i had to work her out, no problem. In the park is where she first pooped and peed.... I called Sylvia's Sanctuary in KY & I asked her how anyone could abandon such a sweet little girl. She said - well honey, this is Kentucky. People throw their dogs out the windows of their cars when they're driving. It's basically the armpit of the planet. omygod! Then she told us that Elsa was found with her puppies and 4 other skinny girl dogs under an abandoned single-wide trailer. They rescued them all. The funny thing is that earlier in the day, i had been telling her (with admiration) that she was a junkyard dog and ran with a girl pack. It turned out to be true! She is so cool and has been through so much. It's going to take her time as she has to adjust to a very different and scary new environment but she's going to be fine. This Sunday, we start in a group basic training at petco. There she will learn come, sit, stay, down, heel and emergency commands. My goal is to be able to let her off leash on our property in Maine so she can run around in the non-fenced yard. But I have to be sure she won't run off and will come on command. She's smart and wants to please so I'm optimistic. She is just the best, sweetest, most loving little girl on the planet. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for bringing her into our lives. We will appreciate her and love her and give her the best best care any dog could get and then some. if you have any questions or anything to say or just want updates, please always feel free to contact me any time. Love, Sheila and Mike
