Angel
Hi Cindy!!
We just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for our new puppy Zelda
(formerly Angel, formerly formerly Panda). She has transitioned quite
nicely into our home and with our other animals. Our dog Reggae was just
over the moon that we had brought her home - they are getting to be better
friends every minute. Zelda also met our cats!!! She's getting braver and
braver with them and trying to get them to play with her (one of them is
much bigger than her still hehe).
Honestly, we are overjoyed how good she has been with us. She has learned
"sit" and we went ALL DAY yesterday (and every night) with no accidents
whatsoever. There is a picture attached of her and we promise to send more
updates as she grows!!
Thank you again for taking such great care of her,
-Nicole & Dan Hipp
Abigail
News, Cindy ! Abagail, Annie is now officially Ella after her mom, princess Ella. We think a fitting tribute to her mom! She seems to like her name..I'm sure she's heard it before. Pups got out on the lawn with collars and leashes and loose. They did great on recall. Paulie is great and Ella is learning. No newspaper and no accidents overnite or during the day. They are still confined and moving on. They are being transitioned from blue seal to wellness. It is easier for us as it turned out because Smart Pak. Handles wellness and it comes by ups out of mass within a day. I will stop burgeoning you with news and instead try to get some pix. Unfortunately it is hard to man the ipad , supervise the pups and play with them at the same time. Peter will have to stop holding them. It is blowing us away how easily they got the house training started. They had a great start and we are home trying to get a sensible schedule going.
Enjoy your time with your husband. See you in February.
Good times! Billie
Alec
Hi Cindy, all is well. The pups (Alec, now Paulie, and Abigail, now Ella) are really moving in! They are so people oriented! A young couple came to visit today and spent a few hours holding and playing with them this afternoon. We kept our schedule and they adjusted? They got lots of hugs and kisses, ate great, drank water pooped outside, peed outside, went into the crate (paulie) to rest. We are about to play with them and then go down to the barn in an hour, let them out and then nite, nite. They sure are wonderful pups! Lewis kissed them Clarke looked at them with some interest and Henry was a bit confused but not antagonistic. We didn't put them together. Sniffing and watching is enough for today. All are exhausted but seem happy and worry free, as they should be. Now we should be worry free. Soooooo feel the peace of a job well done and
Sleep well, Cindy. You did a great job for the last two critical weeks and we are very thankful for that.

Adelaide
UPDATE:Hello Cindy,
Addie is doing great. She's a quick learner; although, she's almost too smart. When you give her a command, you can see the wheels turning in her head, weighing the pros and cons and then, a couple seconds later, she does what you asked. We are having so much fun with her. I've taken nearly a thousand pictures. We take several walks every day, and she is terrific on the leash.
In the beginning, she was a little skittish and overly cautious. I think fear was prompting her aggression toward new people, which is getting much better. She just needs to be introduced to new people slowly. If we tell people to ignore her for a few minutes then her curiosity takes over, and she's fine. She is fantastic!
Check out the pics. I do believe those ears are going to STAND UP. So cute!!! No need to reply, just wanted you to see how well she is doing. FYI- Next week we go back to the vet for her last Parvo and first Lyme. Thanks again. I'm so happy we adopted her. Jason and I are now able to remember the good times with Sadie and Dusty without crying. Addie turned out to be the best medicine for our house.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Cindy, Addie is doing great. She appears to be completely house trained. She hasn't had an accident since day 2. She's very happy, loves exploring the yard and house. She's eating very well now and is always hungry. She goes for lots of car rides and loved exploring my parents yard which is huge. Her favorite thing to do is nap on Jason's lap. She's definitely a couch dog. She had her first check-up on Tues., received her Rabies and 3rd Distemper/Parvo shot. The vet said 3 mos was OK for the rabies. We go back in 3 weeks for a fourth Parvo and first Lyme.
...
I attached a pic and will send some more soon. We love our little girl!!!

Anchor
Anchor, now Sgt. Pepper, is doing GREAT in his new home. Here is what his mom (who formerly adopted our puppy Harley/now Biscuit) has to say about him: __________________
Hi Cindy and Sharon!
I am almost afraid to say how wonderfully things are going here. The boys are adjusting to each other and to me. I was out for 4 hours today, with both boys in their respective enclosures (have to get a larger one for Pepper) and they did very well with Charlie Bears and Deer Antlers. When I arrived back home, initially Pepper barked, but as soon as I said hello to them, I could hear his tail thumping against the side of the crate. It seems weird to say, but I really think he had bonded with me.....and I certainly feel that I have bonded with him.
Interesting tale of the day. When I showered today they were waiting for me in the bedroom (bathroom is right off the bedroom with an open door between). I took a nice long shower and when I came out I didn't hear anything. When I walked into the bedroom I saw why.....Biscuit was in his usual spot when I take a shower.....on the bed......Pepper was stretched out on the bed parallel to Biscuit and they were both sleeping. It was SO adorable! I think they are bonding to each other as well.
Well it is past feeding time, so I have to go do my motherly duties. I am SO happy with my new little family. They are having a blast enjoying the yard. ... They are so funny!
Talk soon. Hope you are both well...
Love,
Lee
