Taz
Hi Cindy, just wanted to send a quick update on Taz, now called Enzo. He's doing great!! We brought him to the Adirondacks and, as you'll see in the photos, he is completely at home with us and our dogs. He seems to be completely house-broken! We've had NO accidents and he immediately pees when he is let out. He only whined/yelped a bit the first night when we put him in a kennel in our bedroom where our other dogs, Ranger (the 7 1/2 y.o. Golden) and Schatzi (the 2 y.o. Griffon) also sleep. Since the first night, we leave the kennel door open and he wanders in on his own whenever he wants to take a nap. We were a bit concerned because he growled at our other dogs the first day whenever they approached him. But he never growls at people and now is very happy in the company of Ranger and Schatzi. He follows us everywhere and we've taken him on a couple of the "shorter" (1 mile or less) dog walks. Otherwise he is home with Kelvin while I take the older dogs for longer treks. I have an appointment at the Cobleskill Vet clinic on Saturday for Enzo's last booster shots. We're still trying to figure out what breeds he is a mix of and how big he will eventually be.
I hope you find loving homes for Sydney and Kiwi soon! If any potential families want to hear about their sibling Taz/Enzo I'd be happy to talk to them and tell them how wonderfully Enzo has adjusted to his adopted family. Have a nice weekend! Nan
Tess
Hi Everybody!
I wanted to let you know that Heidi and Tess are doing great! We love them to pieces!
We are thinking of fencing in the rest of the backyard so that they are able to run loose when we are out there...
Thanks so much.

Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell, now Ruby, having a wonderful Christmas with her fantastic forever family!!
Trooper
Cindy,
I just thought that I would send you an email thanking you for Trooper. He is such a bundle of joy, I couldn't imagine having a better dog; he wants to cuddle with me all the time and when you hold him he hugs your arm and does not want to let go. On the car ride home we took him to a state park and when I brought him out of the car he ran in between my legs and then put his paws on my leg and wanted me to pick him up, so cute. He has gone to the bathroom outside everytime so far with no mistakes. Last night he licked me at about 230 am and I took him out for a walk and he took care of business. He slept in bed with me all night and cuddled right next to me. He loves to take rides in the car and is so good about just sitting in the seat and just hanging out. I took him to a friends house to meet some of my friends and we played some cards and he sat in my lap all night with his two front paws on the table just observing everything, he was so good. My other two dogs love him and they are getting along so well. My neighbor has a 100 lbs rottie and Trooper was growling at him and even tried to mount him. They ran around the yard and played together I think when he gets bigger they will be good friends. When we watch t.v. he just comes up on the couch and sits right next to me and hangs out, such a well behaved puppy. You must have worked some magic with these puppies and I thank you for teaching him well. Again I wanted to thank you for allowing me to have this little bundle of joy as a part of my family. I will keep you updated from time to time on how he is doing and I wish you well with your next batch of rescue dogs. My girlfriend Lauren is graduating from school in about a year and she said that she would like to adopt a dog from you when she is ready. Thanks again.
Jason
