Nellie

May 2015 - My husband & I adopted Nellie 2 years ago this month! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone! She's such a joy & we just adore her Thank you again for rescuing her & bringing her into our lives! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1/7/15 Happy 2nd Birthday to little Nellie! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5/31/13~Nellie is getting so big- it's hard to believe that her final vaccinations are tomorrow and that she's growing so quickly! She is such a joy to have as part of our family! Zeus

How are you? Hope all is well in your beautiful neck of the woods. Wanted to give you an update on Zeus! :) Sweet Zeus (now named Yogi!) is a dream come true. He has the most loving, spirited yet easy-going, personality and everyone just falls in love with him the moment they meet him. He greets EVERYONE as if they are his long-lost best friend which makes him irresistible! The pizza delivery guy already has an ongoing rapport with him. Our yorkipoo, Mikey, tried hard to act unimpressed with Yogi's contagious energy and love of life, but even he could not resist his charm and they are now like two peas in a pod. What makes Yogi even more special is that my husband and son get special treatment like no other dog we've had. He has them both wrapped around his paw! My husband actually shares his favorite chair with Yogi and he keeps it warm while he is at work (as you can see in one of the pics). He is an absolute love. We cannot thank you enough for bringing Yogi into our lives and helping us to fill the void after the loss of our beloved Charlie. You, Safe at Last Rescue and Yogi are all heaven sent. Thank you!!

Luna

5/6/15 Our lovely girl, Luna, continues to delight us! She rides shotgun calmly and quietly, enjoying the scenery. She's now 34 pounds of fun and joy for us. We are so grateful she's ours. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ We are so pleased to see Luna on your FB page! She continues to entertain us with her antics. Though, puppies take a lot of time and energy when you first get them and not everyone has a schedule to accommodate that. Your group and your southern counterparts go above and beyond to promote responsible pet ownership and improve animals' lives. You are making a positive impact, Thank you again for bringing Luna into our lives. We were bereft over the unexpected death of our wonderful dog Maddie and needed Luna to help us heal. Wishing you joy and success in your mission.

Strudel

Sharon Strudel made it home with no problems. She has been exploring a bit outside with the kids all excited to take her for a walk. She just finally settled down enough to lay down after sniffing around the house. We are so happy with her and thank you for all you have done for her, she is a wonderful dog and so well behaved.
