"Apple Dumpling" Blaze
I wanted to give an update on one of your adoption success stories. This is Blaze, who we renamed to Trooper. He became a part of our family in December 2010. He travels everywhere that we go- Canada, and all over the USA. He is such a good boy. Now that he's almost 4years old he likes the finer things in life, like
taking a nap in the sun! He truly is one of our best friends. Thank you for rescuing him and choosing us to be his forever family. We're forever grateful.
Heidi
Hi Everybody! I wanted to let you know that Heidi and Tess are doing great! We love them to pieces! We are thinking of fencing in the rest of the backyard so that they are able to run loose when we are out there... Thanks so much. Jolynn and Gary Burke

Frankie
Update on Frankie (May 2014):
Frankie is ready for summer!! I got him a visor to keep the sun out of his eyes. Has no trouble keeping it on. ...Sometimes Freddie will share his bed with Frankie. But Frankie rather sleep by me. He needs a couple of light
shirts because I am afraid he'll get sunburned. Fur on his tummy is coming in like peach fuzz.
Its been lots of fun watching him running around the yard like crazy man. Loves all kinds of stuffed animals. Got him a ball and he'll chase it down the hall and sometimes bring it back. Everything this summer is fun for him. The flowers, grass
rocks, dirt, trees. He likes to sit on the deck and watch the leaves on the trees and birds. Great little personality is coming thru. Still follows me from room to room. When I go out he runs to side fence to see me go down the street. He knows the sound of my car and runs to the fence and lets out these unbelievable cries. ....
Everything is coming along as Frankie finds his comfort zone. I honestly could not have asked for any little dog to be more lovable than he is. Frankie is VERY smart.
Hope this finds you in good health. Did you find a family for Heidi? I think about her all the time. I would have taken both of them if I could.

Hi Sharon,
... I just love him to pieces. He is so happy when I come home, jumping and barking just like my Nadia did when she was a puppy. I knew when I saw his little face on the web he was meant for me. My cousin said Nadia picked him out for me so I wouldn't miss her so much. Frankie is not snappy when someone comes near me and you should see him with my granddaughter who is 9mos. She crawls now and he cleans her ears! They are the same height. He thinks she will play, and she does, crawling after him. is very sweet boy. Thank you so much.
EmmyLou
Hi, Cindy and Sharon! We are loving little EmmyLou! We've changed her name just
slightly to Emma, so it doesn't sound so similar to 'Allie'. The kids are ecstatic that
we're adopting her. Ashlynn continues to squeal and randomly jump up and down. Her main
concern was, "Are you SURE Miss Sharon will let us keep her?" :) She is
thrilled that now we have 4 girls and only 2 boys in the house!
...
Hugs,
Heather
