Van Valborg
hi cindy and sharon- rusty is settling in very well. trip home went well as you can see from the picture. you said he doesnt bark, well he does when he needs to go out. very loudly and persistant. he's even trying the sad but cute eyes to try to get more food out of us. i did give in a little bit but not too much. thanks again . i believe this was a blessing from above that rusty was still there when we came to see you. the stars had to align just right. and there's a special star watching all the time. luv you both for bringing this little one into our lives. sheryl, david, tipper, rusty and kitten mittens
Riv
Riv (in the foreground) was formerly puppy Saturn, from our S Litter, who was returned to us and needed to be re-homed. We are thrilled to report that he has found the perfect forever family...He went home on Friday 1/24, and here is what his new mom and dad have to say after welcoming Riv (now Jax) home:
Cindy... Jax had a great night...not 1 accident. .he had lots of visitors and was not shy at all..he slept all night from 11pm til 7:30 am again no accidents...no crying during the night..such a good boy...ps..I may need a bigger bed..lol.............We believe Jax came to us for a reason.. it's like he's always been here....
From all of us at Safe At Last, thank you Rivera family (including canine sister Asia) for giving this precious boy a place in your heart and home. Jax stole the hearts of all of us, and there is nothing better than seeing him loved and thriving in his new life with you.

Hi Cindy,
We love him!! His new name is " Bear", the kids love him so much, he slept through the night. He is so happy, and Lucky plays with him also, Bear takes Lucky's toys and food so we are trying to teach him, but it is cute and funny!! I will send you some pictures. He really loves to run outside in our back yard, he is out there now with the kids playing. He is a gem! Thank you so much again for the opportunity to save such a wonderful puppy! I will keep in touch.

Sebastian
Here is a recent pic of Sebastian (center) in his new home with his human and canine brothers. Whenever pitbulls are stereotyped in a negative way, all of us here think of Sebastian & the many other wonderful pit mix pups that have come through our rescue. All of these kids have been wonderful, & we are so glad we were able to help them find their way through prejudice to their forever homes.
