Molly
The "M" Puppies got together to celebrate their 1st birthday together! Correct me if I'm wrong but, left to right, I think its Eden, Peanut, Cooper, Lily, & Molly. Check out their pics from the dog park here! http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/album.sfly?sid=0AZNWrNi4buGzlI&startIndex=0&fid=e602e577eee1e90dd33ce936de451066
Storm
Here is Storm (on the right) exploring & having fun with his new family (human and canine) this summer. Thank you Rogers Family for giving this wonderful boy such a loving home!!
Frodo
Happy 1st Birthday Frodo Oct 2013!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We adopted Frodo back in February and he is honestly, without a shadow of a doubt, the BEST DOG that has ever lived. I can't say thank you enough to Safe At Last for connecting us with our lil' man- he's what makes my world go round!! Quick update! He just finished phase 1 of puppy training (top of his class of course) & we start Intermediate in a few weeks. He LOVES his best friend Otto (my best friend's puppy), special walks & all of his stuffed animals. Still not a fan of the vacuum cleaner or baths. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jillian you have NO IDEA he's honestly SO GOOD & SO HANDSOME! (My BFF said he smolders in his photos, baha) He would have had a great home with you but are we ever grateful we met you & him!!! He's the love of my lifeeee- we have had absolutely NO problems with him whatsoever. No barking, no chewing, no jumping, no silly puppy behaviors. It's like he was an old soul in an adorable puppy body. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING Oh my goodness completely forgot to tell you! We had him DNA tested- he's 1/4 Am.Staff Terrier, Rottie, Australian Shep and Chow!! You can't tell from here but his tail curls up and he's got black spots on his tongue like a chow, and when he gets really excited his mouth gets super huge (like a puppet!) & he looks like the Am.Staff

3/28/13~Here are the promised pics of Mr. Frodo Man- my best friend Alex came up over the weekend (her rescue puppy turned 1!) so we had a play date/ puppy party for him- most of the pics are from that. (They had SOOO much fun! They didn't stop playing for the entire weekend, Frodes was exhausted when Otto left!) And there's even one with his little bear Jillian!! :) He's doing so well- thank you so much for everything!!!

Week 1 Update!! Hey Jillian and Cindy!
Hope you've all had a great week! I know we have!! Just wanted to give you a quick update on Mr. Baggins! :) He's AMAZING. He's won each and every one of us over. What a FANTASTIC puppy! He's such a sweetheart and SO smart! He hasn't had an accident inside (uses the doggie door like a champ!). He LOVES the doggie door- loves to go in and out, in and out all day just to look at the birds :). He is so funny, he's always contemplating the universe. We go for walks down the forest path (which he LOVES- always sniffing with his nose to the ground) and before he can go inside he has to go sit at the top of our hill and look out at everything for ~5 minutes; almost like he's contemplating the life of a pup! His normal day consists of breakfast at 7:30, a walk around 9, he gets brushed & has his teeth brushed around 10, lunch at 12, another walk around 1, the kids come home and take him out at 3, I get home from work at 5, feed him, then we go outside, then we snuggle the night away! He's also now a permanent resident on my bed at night- and he's a snorer! :) He hates the vaccuum cleaner and loves veggie bones and a good belly rub. Overall, as lucky as he is, we are just as lucky if not more that you chose us to love him forever! He's the best!
We did bring him to the vet for his check up on Thursday- they LOVED him. He sat so still and was so calm, Tom was shocked! He also thinks he might have some red tick coonhound/pitt in him (which would account for his adorable freckles). He got his rabies shots, he's all registered with us, and he's even gained 3lbs since last Saturday! (Getting big already!) Basically, everything is going SO well. (Meghan met him Wednesday also, her and her bf are already making plans to steal him- everyone LOVES him!)
THANK YOU SO MUCH again for everything you have done for our family! We ADORE Mr. Frodo and are so happy to have him in our lives.
-Much puppy love!
Megan & Fam

Mikala
Hi Cindy! Mikala is now spelled Mikayla. She is great! She is a very good and lovable dog. She really enjoys people and is gentle with all, but especially gentle with the elderly and children. It is nice to see. She has a lot of prey instincts in her so when she sees something move outside---especially animals she gets soo excited and wants to chase them. A couple times on our daily walk, she chased a deer out of the woods. It is not a perfect world and I would rather she stay close, but every once in awhile she cannot seem to do this. It is a funny scene as this 12 pound dog is bouncing behind a huge deer that just escaped the woods. Mikayla has some dog friends at the park and enjoys playing. Her best time is when we go in an open field and she runs and runs---She is super fast. Last year she got her license to be a therapy dog. I did not find big places the best for her to visit, but rather individual home visits.
In fact one woman if having a bad day will call me and ask if Mikayla can come for a visit. I love Mikayla very much---she is a good dog, a good companion, and a good friend. I am grateful. I will send you a picture when I figure out how to send it on the computer. I hope you are well and your dog rescue mission is going well. I thank you on behalf of all the dogs. Sue
Summer
Dear Cindy,
Just wanted to let you know everything is going amazingly well. She really
is the sweetest pup I could imagine. Pearl is less than thrilled so far,
but tolerant none the less. Juno is sleeping in a crate next to Hazel's bed
and is happy to go right in and collapse until about 6:30 a.m.....she is
wonderful!
Thank you again. It was really a pleasure to meet you!
Eileen
