Deter
Here's what the family of CarBo (formerly our Deter) have to say about their special little man:
Hi Sharon:I hope you had a great weekend and that Miss Liesel is off to her home in New Jersey! Quick update on our little man:- He went to the vet on Friday and everything was in tip top shape (aside from the kennel cough which the doc advised to continue the Clavamox until we run out) BUT I haven't heard a cough in 2 days! Very exciting stuff! He even had his first Lyme disease booster. - He is making friends left and right! With a face like that, everyone wants to be his buddy! He has been having lots of fun with me at work :)- Thursday and Friday he was pretty tired, he slept most of the day. But what a difference a day makes, he has been running around like crazy. No more runny nose and tons more energy!- We already have happy cohabitation with the cats! The cats mostly just stare at him and sometimes he gets brave and chases them around but not a single hiss. Everyone is eating and sleeping fine.
Thanks again, Sarah
Deanna
Update July 2015
Hi Cindy, Here's a couple of recent pictures of our beautiful Koda ( Formally Deanna)
She is 55lbs now and spayed a couple of weeks ago. I found out the littler was born on
July 30th 2014, so she will be celebrating her first Birthday in a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure if she's going to grow much more, she seems to have more Australian Shepherd size
than Great Dane!
Her training has been going really well and she is such a wonderful addition to our family.
Thank you for giving her a good start in life.
Tracey & Koda.

I'm doing so well in my new forever home! Everybody loves me, my new Mommy can't keep her hands off me. She gives me lots of
hugs and kisses throughout the day and is always telling me what a good girl I am. I sleep through the night with my two new brothers who are
getting used to me bounding around. I've been so good with potty, absolutely NO accidents. Mommy can't believe how good I can control my bladder
considering I'm only 13 weeks old. I love my new back yard, it's like a park and I'm allowed to run all around it because it has a fence.
I also love to go on car rides, they make me a little sleepy but I don't feel sick at all.
When I first got here there were a lot of shoes around and I loved to chew and play with them, now they seemed to have disappeared, can't imagine why!
Thank you for giving me such a good start and finding my new family. I have sent some new pictures, I look so pretty!!
Lots of licks
Koda
Dottie
Hi
I was just checking your web site to find an address to send you a donation. I found the address and the check is in the mail.
My wife and I adopted Dottie in May of 2011 and she has given us more pleasure than one can imagine. You described her on your web site as a "sweetie pie" and that description is unbelievably accurate. The most amazing thing about her is that in the four years we have had her she has never woken us up in the morning-no matter how late we sleep. She sleeps with us in the middle of our king size bed on her back, head on a pillow and covers up to her neck. She will not get up until we both get up. She is amazing in this and every way. We can not thank you enough for allowing us to adopt this wonderful dog who has changed our lives.
. . .
Thank you again for our Dottie and all that you do for animals.
Sincerely,
Gary(and Sandy) Philips
